How are you supposed to brush your teeth with whitening tooth paste so it works?
Question by ay yay: How are you supposed to brush your teeth with whitening tooth paste so it works?
When I brush my teeth I basically put the tooth paste on my brush, and brush all of my teeth, i brush the gums real good, the inside behind my teeth, and all around my mouth twice then I rinse.
Does rinsing make the tooth paste less effective to whiten teeth?? If the tooth paste is tooth whitening, is there an amount of time you should let it sit on your teeth without brushing at all???

Really????? Read the instructions on the tube. Seriously? You can’t figure that one out? There are more problems here than just yellow teeth.

Whitening toothpaste takes weeks to work, if your teeth are that bad
I would consult a dentist about getting it done with them.
You have to rinse or your food will taste like mint all the time.
You have to use it at least twice day, avoid staining foods like tea and coffee too

From my experience, whitening tooth paste doesn’t really work. Had to use something to really soak my teeth in, those whitening strips are some what effective but annoying. After some time I gave up.
I recommend tooth paste thats ADA approved!

Try brushing your teeth in a circular motion, this helps build the enamel, more enamel the whiter the teeth. My dentist told me to leave the toothpaste in my mouth after brushing to help build the enamel and use toothpaste that has Fluoride in. Most whitening toothpastes have Fluoride in.

What I’ve often heard is that you need to notice the shade of your teeth before and after the entire tube of toothpaste.
I honestly suggest using it twice/day and use a regular, flouride toothpaste once/day, as well. Do NOT scrub.
Rinsing will not make it less effective, but you might want to try a whitening rinse, as well.
In the future, try using baking soda and rinse with peroxide, making sure not to swallow any. You’d be surprised.
